Cumulus only accepts a limited number of clients, through a referral and application process. Every new client will be asked to complete an extensive questionnaire, and will be followed up by a face to face consultation. The criteria to apply is that you are seeking a trusted partner to make your travels extraordinary.

I guess I’m not your typical travel professional. While travel has always been my passion, I started my working life in the corporate world with roles in finance and the legal profession. I lived and worked in Beijing, immersing myself in that wonderfully rich foreign culture and exploring much of China. I returned to Australia and decided to ‘throw myself off a cliff’ - trading it all in to follow my passion for travel.
I had caught the ‘travel bug’ from my mother on a trip to the UK when I was just 6 months old, and I travelled both Australia and the Globe throughout my childhood. In time I learned that when staying with friends or family I discovered a destination differently and that my experience was more rewarding and genuine. In moving into the travel industry I wanted to find a way to allow others to experience these types of authentic experiences for themselves.
When I travel, I eat – in a BIG way. The two are inseparable for me, and I believe you learn so much about a destination and its people through the cuisine and by eating with locals. No matter where you are in the world food is like a universal language. My first port of call is usually a local’s market, where the eating begins… and from there I try cafés, restaurant, street vendors … I embrace it all. Having travelled the world I have come to appreciate the quality of produce and diversity of cuisines on offer in Australia, we are really spoilt!
I know I am now stuck… I won’t ever be able to leave this industry! Every day I discover something new and exciting, am inspired to keep exploring, and I become even more passionate about importance of travel in life. Quite honestly I can’t imagine a life without travel.
